18 January 2008 (English Project)

Today was a typical Friday at school. I was seated at the edge of my seat the whole day, anticipating the final bell which would signal the end of a schooling week. It would mean a very much deserved weekend break.

It was a very exhausting day at school today as we had two periods of each subject. It was all work and no rest. The final bell eventually came at 1:05 pm by which I was worn out. However, I was totally estatic as the much awaited bell finally came.

After which, my classmate Barry and I took a bus back to my home to start on our literature project. I had to stand in the bus throughout the journey as there were no seats available .While in the bus, my thoughts were filled about ideas for my project.

Once we reached home, we immediately started on our project. We put in alot of effort in the project not only to get good grades but also to impress Miss Fox. Although we had a few hiccups, we were able to finish it with great relief. There was a sense of pride and joy in my achievement. Well, I do hope to get good grades.

After a while my friends, Prasith and Abiram came over and we played football near my house. We had good time and I also relieved alot of the stress that I had accummulated over the week. Sadness crept into me when they finally left. However I managed to console myself as it was the start of a weekend.

In all, it was a very tiring but fruitful day as I had completed my literature project.
